New Oleville

Hi everyone,

We're going to be completely redesigning the SGA website, Oleville.com. In the meantime, we'll be using this blog as a replacement. Every week we'll update a list of events and important dates, etc., that you would have found on the old Oleville.com.

Unfortunately, there will be no poll questions anymore.

Love,
Your SGA Team

What Regent issue do you want to know more about?

The Board of Regents Student Committee (BORSC) wants to know what you think! Yesterday, they tabled outside the caf with free candy and friendly smiles. The candy and tabling is gone, but the research continues. The survey is online, and the polls will remain open until Spring Break. So vote now while you have the chance.

We Need Your Help!

Currently there is an urgent need for diapers and feminine hygiene products in the Gulf Coast. Because of this, Volunteer Network, in collaboration with Ole Spring Relief, will be hosting a donation drive for these items.

This week look for drop off locations in fireside and at the
Buntrock Front Desk. We will be accepting donations until Friday, March 23rd. Spread the love and spread the word!

Change is in the Air

Here's the story Oleville visitors, we're continuing to add blogs. However, in order to keep things organized we've split them into two different pages.
If you're looking for the fun and goofy blogs you can find them by clicking on the "student blogs" button in the blogs drop down menu.

However, in an effort to keep students informed with accurate information, Oleville is now unveiling a new administration section. This section will contain blogs from President Anderson, and other people in the administration, and will be a place for students to read about the decisions and actions of their St. Olaf leaders. You can access this page by clicking the above link "Information from St. Olaf" or by clicking the "administration blogs" button in the blogs drop down menu.

Enjoy the new features and keep stopping back!

Three New Blogs!

Oleville is proud to announce the addition of three new blogs to the Oleville blog community. I'm still working the kinks out on the site itself, but if you click on that Blog button on the toolbar above you'll be able to check out what's new.

Freshman John Manke will be writing a weekly blog about his experience as an alchemy major. If you don't know what alchemy is, read his first post and find out.

Junior Matt Everhart will be writing what he's calling "a dork blog" in which he will discuss mainly video games.

Finally, Oleville is proud to carry a new blog written by none other than St. Olaf President David R. Anderson. Be sure to check it out.
