New Oleville

Hi everyone,

We're going to be completely redesigning the SGA website, Oleville.com. In the meantime, we'll be using this blog as a replacement. Every week we'll update a list of events and important dates, etc., that you would have found on the old Oleville.com.

Unfortunately, there will be no poll questions anymore.

Love,
Your SGA Team

Advocate for Financial Aid

The costs of college are rapidly rising - now is your chance to actually do something about it.

Registration is now open for St. Olaf's Day at the Capitol.

On Wednesday, April 9th - SGA will be taking a bus of St. Olaf students to St. Paul for St. Olaf's Day at the Capitol. This is an opportunity to directly meet with legislators at the State Capitol to advocate for student financial aid, specifically the Minnesota State Grant Program.

In the last academic year, more than 70,000 low- and middle-income Minnesota students received a state grant, including about 10,000 private college and university students. 1/4 of St. Olaf students receive this funding!

Registration is due by April 5th! So, get your name on the roster for the bus-load of Oles headed to St. Paul. To register, click here!

Youtube Video

Shift your eyes to the right... see that video?

Your going to be seeing a lot more of that. Each week SGA will be posting a new video that will recap the Senate meeting. Student Senate meets every Tuesday at 6:30 to carry out the business of SGA. However, that information is stuff that you the student need to know. So, rather than reading the meeting minutes (which you could also do-- available at: http://www.stolaf.edu/orgs/sga/senate/minutes.htm) you'll post a video each week.

This week's video is looking pretty good... you'll notice a certain Oleville webmaster making an appearance in a very flashy SGA toga.

What's New on this here website?

I looked up "change" on Google and this is the image it gave me, whatever.

The point is- Oleville's had some changes- here's what happened:
1) In the "Fun Blog" Section we've added a new blog. It's written by Christine Bernie's blog from Northfield.org. Check it out every week to find out all the great happenings in Northfield over the weekend!
2) There's a new section under the "On Campus" section. "Pictures" It's a link to the Oleville Picture Galleries with shots from all sorts of events on campus. You got pictures of your own? send them to sgawebmaster@stolaf.edu to get them into the Oleville gallery.
3)If you move your eyes slightly to your right you'll notice a Youtube video... click on it- go ahead, and find out what that's all about.
